Virtual Practice
The following is a mock up solution for Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) on soft skills. The purpose is to show how learners can role-play in a situational-based setting, with quizzes and interactives along the way. Decisions made by learners will also impact the outcome.
What is Virtual Practice?
Virtual Practice is an interactive video simulation, where we use authentic workplace scenarios. In these scenarios, learners role-play and make decisions that branch into different paths and affect the storyline. This not only allows for personalised learning, but also a high transfer of practice back to the workplace through authentic scenarios.
What other videos can be used?
Any videos (3D, 2D animations to live-action videos) can be used to create a Virtual Practice. It can be taken off existing online resources, or Retail Asia Academy can provide video production support upon request.
How much does a Virtual Practice cost?
Instead of having to pay e-learning vendors to create new content. Pocket SEED's new feature aims to integrate the "Virtual Practice" concept into our system. In other words, all companies subscribed to Pocket SEED can create Virtual Practices for FREE.
